Chiropractic

Chiropractors assess the bones, joints and muscles of the body for restricted motion. With treatment to the muscles and joints through various techniques, chiropractors will have you moving and performing at your best.

Dr. Marnie Mabee D’Andrea graduated from New York Chiropractic College in December of 2002. After a year associating at another Hamilton clinic, Dr. D’Andrea opened up her office in the Runners Den in January of 2005. Dr. D’Andrea has an interest in sports injuries and has treated several national and world level athletes. During her second year as a chiropractor, Dr. D’Andrea took on the role as chiropractic co-ordinator for the World Road Race Cycling Championships held here in Hamilton, Ontario. In addition working with the medical teams for several triathlons, the Around the Bay Road Race, and other local running races, Dr. D’Andrea held the position of Chief Medical Co-ordinator for the Hamilton Road to Hope Marathon for 7 years. For the past 4 years, Dr. D’Andrea has worked in the control room for the Hamilton marathon, monitoring what is happening along the race course. Dr. D’Andrea was part of the medical team for soccer for the Pan Am Summer Games 2015. More recently, Dr. D’Andrea has become certified in the FMS and SFMA Level 1. This is a system designed to assess and classify movement patterns to direct manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. Dr. D’Andrea’s interests involve athletic care, maternity care, and shoulder injuries, however, she sees a wide range of musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries in the very young to the very old. Durdana is a chiropractic intern currently completing her clinical internship under the supervision of Dr. Marnie at MMD Chiropractic Health Centre. She graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology before pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.

During the first half of her internship, Durdana completed a seven-month clinical placement at the CMCC Rekai Centre, where she provided care to patients with chronic musculoskeletal conditions and a wide range of functional concerns. She believes in helping patients feel confident, capable, and empowered in their own healthcare, with a strong focus on long-term health and wellness.

Durdana takes an evidence-informed and individualized approach to treatment, combining hands-on care with active rehabilitation strategies tailored to each patient’s needs. Originally from Hamilton, she is excited to return to her hometown to continue her clinical education and support the community at MMD Chiropractic Health Centre. Outside of the clinic, Durdana can often be found at hot yoga, hiking to local waterfalls, or experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes.
